Israeli media have revealed new details about the events leading up to the Israeli strike on Doha on Tuesday, which specifically targeted Hamas leaders.

The Day Before the Strike

According to a diplomatic source cited by The Jerusalem Post, Hamas received a new proposal from Qatar, initially delivered by Steve Witkoff in Paris last week.

The Qatari Prime Minister reportedly met with Hamas leadership on Monday, deciding to reconvene on Tuesday to discuss the proposal, which originated from Turkey.

Details of the Air Operation

• Around 15 fighter jets participated in the attack.

• More than 10 aerial munitions were fired, hitting the target within seconds of each other.

• The strike focused on a single target.

• Aircraft were refueled mid-air during the operation.

• Pilots landed safely in Israel after completing the mission.

Command and Control

Israeli media reported that the operation was coordinated from the Shin Bet (Israel Security Agency) operations room in central Israel, while the Air Force executed the strike.
